Goromonzi West Member of Parliament Energy Mutodi says CCC leader Nelson Chamisa is gaining popularity over ZANU PF because the ruling party is refusing to embrace young people. Posting on Twitter, Mutodi said, "Nelson Chamisa is gaining popularity because the ZANU PF old guard is fighting its own young men & women. My passionate plea is for ZANU PF to embrace its young people, take in new ideas and remain in power beyond 2023." His tweet irked ZANU PF Patriots who said Mutodi was speaking on his own behalf. MDC-T president Thokozani Khupe is set to make a surprise appearance at Citizens Coalition for Change's (CCC) Bulawayo rally on Saturday, according to sources. An alliance is said to be a possibility, with reports Khupe is open to a reunion with former co-deputy in then united MDC-T Nelson Chamisa who now leads the CCC. Despite having been a thorn in Chamisa's flesh for over two years as they fought over leadership of a party that is falling apart, Khupe is said to be confident her overtures will be positively received. "The president could be at White City stadium on Saturday," said the source. "If she does make it to the rally, this will be confirmation she is coming back, rejoining her former comrades in the opposition party." Chamisa declared

The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) led by Nelson Chamisa says one of its supporters was killed on Sunday in an orgy of violence in Zimbabwe's Midlands city of Kwekwe when suspected Zanu PF activists said to be armed with spears and machetes went on the rampage in an attempt to disrupt the opposition party's by-election rally. Police spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, could neither deny nor confirm that an unidentified CCC supporter died when the ruling party members attacked CCC activists while Nelson Chamisa was addressing the rally. Nyathi said, “At the moment I’m not in a position to comment because I’m in a very noisy place. Call me later.” CCC spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere, claimed that one of their supporters, who is
The newly formed Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has been equated to a useless infantile party by Acting President Constantino Chiwenga who also berated the country's opposition for running down major cities and towns. The Acting President was speaking at Njovo wetland in Masvingo Central where he officially launched the National Wetlands Policy and the Wetlands Management Guidelines. Rallying Zimbabweans to continue voting the tried and tested Zanu-PF party in the forthcoming March 26 municipal and parliamentary by-elections, the Acting President also took an indirect dig at CCC party leader Mr Nelson Chamisa for trying to name his new political outfit after himself. "We (Zanu-PF) are going to contest the by-election with a newly born small party, kanonzi chii zviye

After 7 years ZanuPf Claims Its Investigating Itai Dzamara’s Abduction, President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s regime claims it is seized with investigations to determine the whereabouts of political activist Itai Dzamara who was abducted nearly seven years ago. I am not a politician and I don’t support any political party but I stand with the poor masses of Zimbabwe who do not have access to privileges like those who have become puppets of zanu pf overnight because of hunger and starvation . They will be used and thrown away very soon after the regime is done with them and have rendered them useless . Let me say this on behalf of those who are tired of the brutality , evil governance , poor living standards and the deteriorating economy of Zimbabwe but can’t say a word because of fear . The Mugabe regime is not different from the Mnangagwa regime . Firstly there is no sane president who can appoint false prophets to be part of his cabinet or to be anywhere close to the government offices , let alone appointing
