BBC-AT least 90 people have been killed in a coal mine blast in northern China, according to the country’s state media. The gas explosion happened at the Liushenyu Coal Mine, run by the Tongzhou Group, in Shanxi Province. Hundreds of rescuers have been sent to the site. Heartbreaking? | This 21-year-old man, Walter Masuku from Raffingora, who was on attachment in Rusape, is suspected to have been hit by a vehicle while crossing the road yesterday (18 May) at the 148 km peg along the Harare–Mutare Road. The vehicle did not stop after the incident. He sustained severe head injuries and died at the scene. The ZRP has confirmed that they are investigating the death as a hit-and-run road accident.
