You have fought a good fight, you have finished your race, you have kept the faith (2 Tim 4:7-8)
The nation and indeed the entire WORLD of believers have been plunged into mourning , following the untimely demise of a GREAT Man of God, a CENTINARIAN, a FATHER of many nations – after whose heart the LORD sought – ARCHBISHOP EZEKIEL HANDINAWANGU GUTI.
On the few occasions that I had the PRIVILEDGE to meet with the MAN OF GOD, I was left in awe by his grasp and deep understanding of the WORD OF GOD. Soft spoken, a doyen of wisdom, a sanctuary of intelligence – he never departed from the teachings of our Lord and Saviour, JESUS CHRIST throughout an entire century in which he BLESSED so many people through ZAOGA Forward In Faith Ministries. A mentor and visionary educationalist , BABA GUTI became the first CLERGYMAN to found a private fully-fledged University, through which his charitable work will remain indelible. He was a UNIFIER, who shepherded a nation bearing the brunt of a liberation struggle, until the attainment of independence where he continued to SERVING as a steward of the LORD.
My deepest sympathies to AMAI Eunor Guti and the Guti Family on this loss which transcends national borders. We are with you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, but also celebrate a LONG LIFE well lived in serving the LORD... MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE...🙏🙏🙏
