More Details: Around  PM today, three separate road traffic accidents occurred on Mutare Road near the TM Ruwa area, just before the town-bound traffic lights.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the first incident, a town-bound truck carrying day-old chicks veered off the road and ended up on its side. Witnesses reported that the truck had three passengers, all of whom were injured.

 

The second accident happened at the same location, involving a town-bound haulage truck that jackknifed. The driver, the sole occupant, sustained minor injuries, according to witnesses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The third accident involved a town-bound double cab vehicle that crashed into the jackknifed haulage truck. The driver, who was alone, suffered serious injuries, particularly to his arm and head.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No fatalities have been reported so far. Witnesses noted that a Gold Class Bus and its passengers narrowly avoided an accident. The bus, also town-bound, nearly collided with the stationary haulage truck but the driver managed to avoid it by making a sharp turn.

 

The road was slippery due to wet weather conditions
