One Of The Suspects Who Murdered Sipho Ncube Battling For Life Following Suicide Attempt

Elvis Dongo Saungwema who is one of the murder suspects in the murder of prominent Harare phone dealer, Sipho Ncube is reported to be battling for his life in hospital after he tried to end his life by slitting his throat.

iHarare has established from New Zimbabwe that Elvis Dongo Saungwema is reportedly battling for his life at a local hospital.

This development was revealed by his lawyer Simbarashe Zuze when his co-murder suspects appeared in court for their routine remand before a Harare magistrate.
According to the state and police statement, Saungwema and his co-accused,  Munyaradzi Mawadze, who also happens to be the son of a high court judge, Garainesu Mawadze and Dylon Balani implicated each other in the murder of Sipho.

It is the state’s case that in March this year the trio allegedly stabbed Ncube with a knife before slitting his throat open – killing him instantly.

They allegedly lured the now deceased to their car on the pretext of conducting a cellphone deal. The trio robbed  Sipho of his phones and an unknown amount of cash before proceeding to stab him and dumping his body in a bush in Ruwa.

Meanwhile, sometime in August, there were reports that one of the murder suspects Munyaradzi Mawadze, was suffering from a mental illness.

His mental breakdown was allegedly linked to the rituals done by Sipho’s family after burying him. In addition, they were claims that Munyaradzi’s father, Judge Mawadze was involved in a number of mysterious events that almost claimed his life.

The trio is currently out on bail, awaiting trial.

After being confronted by Syphos Family and friends, Munyaradzi said that he had left Sypho in Waterfalls where they made the deal, as Sypho had some other things to do there.
After sometime since Sypho went missing, Munyaradzi allegedly received text messages from Sypho saying that he had been kidnapped and drugged in a dark place with five other people however he did not know the place.

Many people on twitter are allerging that it was Munyaradzi Mawadze who murdered Sypho and made up the chats to save himself
