Erratic Driving Raises Alarm
The 29-year-old musician was intercepted yesterday at the busy intersection of Cripps Road and Remembrance Drive near Mupedzanhamo. This comes after police officers were alerted after observing what they described as reckless driving.
Upon stopping the vehicle, officers established that Ti Gonzi was operating the black Mercedes-Benz without a valid driver’s licence.
Drugs Discovered During Search
According to H-Metro, a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a half-bottle of Benylin cough mixture along with two prepared twists of dagga and two sachets believed to contain illegal drugs.
The discovery escalated what began as a routine traffic stop into a criminal investigation.
Police Confirm Multiple Charges
Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the arrest, saying the musician is facing several charges under the Road Traffic Act.
“The suspect was arrested for reckless driving, driving without a valid licence, failing to comply with police instructions, as well as possession of illegal drugs,” Chakanza said, citing contraventions of various sections of the Road Traffic Act, Chapter 13:11.
Legal Proceedings Await
At the time of reporting, Ti Gonzi remained in police custody as investigations continued. Authorities indicated that he is expected to appear in court soon.
The arrest has sparked widespread reaction on social media.

Climate Change and Global Environmental Challenges
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing humanity today. Rising global temperatures, severe weather events, melting glaciers, and increasing sea levels are affecting millions of people worldwide. Scientists warn that continued greenhouse gas emissions could lead to devastating environmental, economic, and social consequences if urgent action is not taken.
rnrn
One major cause of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. These activities release large amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, trapping heat and contributing to global warming. Deforestation, industrial pollution, and unsustainable agricultural practices also worsen environmental degradation and biodiversity loss.
rnrn
Climate change affects both developed and developing countries. In Africa, droughts and unpredictable rainfall patterns threaten food security and agriculture. Coastal communities face flooding risks due to rising sea levels, while extreme weather events such as hurricanes and wildfires continue increasing globally. These environmental challenges also place economic pressure on governments and vulnerable populations.
rnrn
Renewable energy technologies such as solar power, wind energy, and hydroelectric systems offer sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. Many countries are investing heavily in clean energy infrastructure to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy security. Environmental experts emphasize the importance of international cooperation, conservation efforts, and public awareness campaigns in addressing climate change effectively.

Mesothelioma and Asbestos Exposure:
rn - Understanding the Risks
rn Mesothelioma is a serious disease caused by prolonged exposure to asbestos, a material once commonly used in construction and industrial environments. Individuals exposed to asbestos fibers may not develop symptoms until decades later, making early detection challenging. This condition often leads people to search for specialized treatment options and legal support. rn
rnrn
Patients diagnosed with mesothelioma often face high medical costs and complex treatment plans. Accessing experienced healthcare providers and understanding legal options for compensation can make a major difference. Awareness of asbestos-related risks continues to grow as more individuals seek support and guidance.
