Dubai Airport confirms Uebert Angel was detained after arriving in Terminal 3 over a passport issue

Dubai Airport confirms Uebert Angel was detained after arriving in Terminal 3 over a passport issue.

Uebert Angel Detained, Sleeps Inside Airport After Visa Cancelled Over 2 Passports With 2 Different Date Of BirthsIn the latest twist surrounding self-styled “prophet” and ambassador Uebert Angel, the man who titles himself a “Svikiro” found himself stranded in Dubai after his visa was cancelled on the grounds that he holds two different passports with two different dates of birth.

Angel was supposed to fly for one of his sons’ functions. Instead, his visa failed to come out. While he was flying towards Dubai the visa was revoked. On entering the emirate he was detained and slept inside the airport. The following day the visa was reinstated. He then phoned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complain that he had been let down by officials who had not provided the paperwork for a smooth journey covered by diplomatic immunity.Ministry officials told him the complication arose because he had previously flown to Dubai on his British passport, which carries a different date of birth from his Zimbabwean documents.

The dual-identity issue dates back years. As ZimEye revealed in 2018, Uebert Angel holds three different forms of identification. He has two Zimbabwean national IDs, both listing the same birth date of 6 September 1978 but with different registration numbers. The first, 83-099297X83, was issued in 1996 at the Zaka registry in Masvingo. The second, 29-195587H83, was issued in 1997 in Gweru, Midlands. He used the 1997 ID to obtain a Zimbabwean passport numbered ZE 306043. His British passport, number 464932598 and issued on 6 November 2009, lists 4 March 1972 as the date of birth — a date that matches some UK company records.

When the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was reached for comment on Angel’s complaints, an official told ZimEye: “He cannot blame Minister Murwira for anything because the last time he traveled to Dubai on his British passport which has a different date of birth.”

Meanwhile, Angel has been receiving assistance from his spiritual son and sub-spokesman Maynard Manyowa, as well as the controversial journalist Hopewell Rugoho Chin’ono, who announces that what Angel mentors is “great journalism.”

While claiming that he controls the lives of sitting presidents including that of the late former Zambian head of state Edgar Lungu, Angel recently apologised for announcing misleading predictions over the World Cup; including claiming that the Argentine footballer Ronaldo, a devout Catholic, prayed a Muslim prayer on the pitch during the World Cup.Angels prophetic powers were also recently put to the test, when his personally meetings were publicly run by this reporter for the whole month in August 2023, resulting in his other spiritual son, Harry Kalaba announcing the disappointment on Zambian television.

Debt Consolidation Loans: Are They Worth It?

Debt can become overwhelming when you are juggling multiple credit cards, personal loans, medical bills, and high-interest payments. A debt consolidation loan may help simplify your finances by combining several debts into one monthly payment.

rnrn

The main goal of debt consolidation is to get a lower interest rate, reduce payment stress, and create a clearer payoff plan. Instead of making several payments to different lenders, you make one payment to one lender.

rnrn

Debt consolidation may be worth it if you qualify for a lower interest rate than what you are currently paying. This is especially helpful for credit card debt, which often has high interest rates.

rnrn

However, debt consolidation is not magic. It does not erase your debt. It only restructures it. If you continue using credit cards after consolidating, you may end up with even more debt.

rnrn

Before applying, check the loan’s interest rate, fees, repayment term, monthly payment, and total cost. A lower monthly payment may sound good, but if the loan term is much longer, you may pay more interest over time.

rnrn

Your credit score affects your options. People with strong credit usually qualify for better rates. If your credit score is low, you may receive high-interest offers that do not actually save money.

rnrn

Debt consolidation can also help your credit if you make payments on time and reduce credit card balances. But missing payments can damage your credit further.

rnrn

Other options may include credit counseling, balance transfer cards, debt management plans, or budgeting changes.

rnrn

A debt consolidation loan is worth considering if it lowers your interest, creates a realistic payoff plan, and helps you stop relying on credit cards.

rnrn

The key is discipline. Consolidation works best when you combine it with better spending habits and a serious plan to become debt-free.

Structured Settlement vs Lump Sum Payment

Structured Settlement vs Lump Sum Payment

A structured settlement pays money over time instead of giving the full amount upfront. Structured settlements are common in injury cases, insurance claims, and lawsuit settlements.

A lump sum settlement pays all the money at once. Both options have benefits and risks.

Benefits of Structured Payments

Structured payments can provide steady income and help prevent spending the money too quickly. They may be helpful for future medical care, living expenses, or long-term support.

Benefits of Lump Sum Payments

A lump sum gives immediate access to cash. This may help pay off debt, buy a home, cover medical bills, or invest.

However, receiving all the money at once requires strong financial discipline.

Selling a Structured Settlement

Some people sell future payments for cash now. This can provide quick money, but the amount received may be less than the total future value.

Conclusion

Before choosing or selling a settlement, consider long-term needs and speak with a financial professional.
