A father can not explain hunger in his house by saying his neighbor failed to loan him some food, said Apostle Chiwenga.
Apostle Chiwenga was explaining the issue of sanctions and their impact on Zimbabwe.In his Friday sermon yesterda, he shared with his congregants the saga surrounding the prosperity and turn around if Zimbabwe as a nation.
Apostle Chiwenga, who is popular for his direct speech, said it’s not about sanctions anymore but the government has failed to manage it’s portfolios and Zimbabwe is not allowed to borrow in order to sustain its economy.Chiwenga cited that Zimbabwe is not investor friendly.In the name of indeginisation, Zimbabwe has scared investors away, investors have declared Zimbabwe a hostile country with no future of certainity.
The government can not wake up any day and declare a 51% ownership in a company they did not invest in and expect investors to stay.In reference, Chiwenga pointed out how Mpoko wanted to steal ownership from Choppies Supermarkets. He said it’s not about sanctions but the stupidity of our government that has scared the nation’s possible help from investing.
