DANCEHALL sensation Freeman has scoffed at death rumours, which are circulating on the social media.The chanter described such behaviour as work of the devil.

Social media is awash with fake news that Freeman was involved in car accident while he was on his way from a girlfriend. Speaking to H-Metro, Freeman said:

“I don’t know why people are doing that to me, maybe they wish me dead.“It’s the work of the devil and his followers.“Vanoshuwira kuti ndishaye oxygen,” he said.

He added:“Handina kana kurumwa nemosquito zvayo.“I am very safe and sounding.

“Yesterday I was busy shooting the video and I am surprised with the information circulating on the social media.”

Freeman added the death rumours are also disturbing his relatives and fans who are continuously calling him to check if he is still alive.“My fans and relatives have been disturbed by the rumours which have circulated. They are continuing to call everyday but I am telling them that I am fine.”

Asked about the alleged girlfriend, he said:“I am happily married and zve girlfriend I don’t know anything related to that.

“I don’t cheat neither was I found caught offside.

“There are people who are just fabricating stories against me maybe they have a certain agenda which they want to suit.“I am an entertainer who works hard to put food on the table for my family.”
