The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has said that it is seeking a man who is beating up female farm workers in a video that has gone viral on social media.
In a statement on its official Twitter page, police appealed to members of the public with information that can lead to the man’s arrest to come forward.
The statement reads:
The ZRP has observed a video circulating on the social media where a man is seen assaulting several women using what appears to be a hosepipe after forcing them to eat pepper. We are therefore appealing for information which may lead to the identification of victims and the assailant thereto.
