Pokello Breaks Her Silence On Allegations Of Being Busted With US$1.5 Million Cash

Socialite and self-proclaimed Queen of Swagger, Pokello Nare has fired back following allegations that she was busted with US$1.5 million cash by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission.

The allegations which surfaced on social media on Wednesday night claimed that the socialite had been caught red-handed with US$1.5 million cash in her posession. Upon being quizzed about the money, Pokello is alleged to have claimed that she was merely holding onto the money as it belonged to her boyfriend. Apparently, the socialite was released without charge because the alleged boyfriend in question comes from a high ranking family.
Having noted the allegations circulating on social media, Pokello did not waste time in putting the record straight. She bemoaned the fact that social media users are always happy to run with unproven allegations when her name is mentioned.

Pokello dismissed the allegations that she was busted with US$1.5 million as a total fabrication and challenged people to do better by getting evidence first, before besmirching other people’s names. Writing on the social media platform, Twitter, Pokello said,

Zim Social media stop! Every unwarranted lie you run with it with no evidence, just because it’s Pokello. You are now pushing it with the fabrications. 1,5million? Ha just stop. It’s getting tired now. Attach V-11 or go to sleep!
