Philip Chiyangwa’s Daughter Cherish Natasha Scammed US$20 000 In A Gold Deal

Philip Chiyangwa’s daughter, Cherish Natasha Chiyangwa was reportedly duped of US$20 000 in a botched gold deal.

Former television presenter Cherish Chiyangwa lost US$20 000 to Willard Munyaradzi Kachere after he misrepresented himself as a gold dealer.

Kachere was not asked to plead when he appeared before Harare magistrate Richard Mangosi.

It is the States case that sometime in  April last year, Kachere approached Cherish and misrepresented that he was into buying and selling gold and if she invested US$20 000 with him, he was able to give her a profit of US$2 000 every fortnight.

The court heard that acting on the misrepresentation, Cherish paid US$20 000 to Kachere, through her business partner Jamie Farai Muswibe, who is based in England for the investment.

Kachere however converted the money to his own use and Chiyangwa suffered an actual prejudice of US$20 000, H-Metro reports.
Meanwhile, businessman-cum-politician Philip Chiyangwa last year made headlines after it emerged that he was paying maintenance for more than 50 children.

This came to light after his High Court appeal against a $40 000 maintenance order for two minor sons with an estranged girlfriend, Pamela Rusere was recently dismissed.

Chiyangwa, was in June last year ordered by a Harare magistrate to pay $40 000 as maintenance for the minor children aged 13 and 7.

In addition to the cash, Chiyangwa was ordered to contribute school fees amounting to R49 172.83 per term towards the children’s education.
