Motorist Drives Into Ginimbi Mansion’s Wall Takes Off From Scene

During the funeral of the late businessman and socialite Genius Kandungure on Saturday 14 November at his Domboshava mansion, a motorist was involved in a car accident.

According to Zimbolivenews  the motorist rammed into a section of Ginimbi’s mansion perimeter precast wall causing significant damage before he sped off from the accident scene. The unidentified motorist was said to be among the thousands of mourners gathered at Ginimbi’s mansion.

The unidentified reckless motorist is believed to have hit another mourner’s stationary vehicle in the car park before he smashed into the mansion wall.

Eyewitnesses who were on the scene of the double accident said the motorist was in the process of avoiding security guards when he rammed into the mansion wall.

“It is sad that the motorist destroyed the mansion precast security wall together with another parked vehicle belonging to one of the mourners and sped off,” said the eye witness.‌

“I am not sure if that motorist deliberately targeted the walls but from the look of things, he was reversing at a fast speed to avoid security guards after he hit one of the parked vehicles.

A number of people who failed to find their way into the mansion because of the limited number returned to their homes refusing to follow proceedings from the tents.

“I am still wondering why the motorist decided to disappear from the scene following that mishap considering the damage he had caused,” the eye witness added.

A security guard was quickly deployed to the scene as chancers were now gaining entrance into the mansion through the destroyed area.
