Moana's Mother Yolanda Organizing A Second Memorial For Her In Highfield

Second Memorial For Moana.

As the rift between the socialite Mitchelle ‘Moana’ Amuli’s parents continues, the mother plans a second memorial service.

Moana’s mother is busy planning her own memorial service for her daughter since, the Amulis (her father’s side) held a memorial service Sadaka three days after her burial without involving the mother, Yolanda Kuvaoga.

“Mitchelle’s memorial service is set for January 2 in Highfield. I was not part of their Sadaka as I do not understand their Islamic culture. In short, we have failed to agree on everything, from the burial,” Kuvaoga told the Daily News.

On the 8th of November, Moana died in a very sad car accident together with the businessman Genius Kadungure aka Ginimbi and two of their friends from Malawi and Mozambique along Borrowdale Road in Harare.

The quad left Dreams Club owned by Ginimbi after they had celebrated Moana’s 26th birthday, heading to Ginimbi’s residence in Domboshava when the accident took place.

Moana was buried at Warren Hills cemetery (Muslim Section) in Harare in line with her father’s Islamic culture after a long battle as Kuvaoga wanted her daughter to be buried at Zororo Memorial Park along Harare-Chitungwiza Road. These disagreements took over 20 days to bury the late mother of one and the DNA tests also delayed since she was burnt beyond identification in the accident.

When the results came after a week, the parents had not yet agreed about where they were going to bury their child. Moana’s mother went to court to cancel the burial order that was issued in the name of Amuli because she was suspecting her ex-husband had gotten the burial order unethically.

However, the court ruled in favour of Amuli saying that he contributed to his daughter’s life considering he raised her in the absense of her mother, so he had the right to bury her however he wanted.

Addiction Treatment Centers: What Families Should Know Before Choosing Rehab

Choosing an addiction treatment center is a major decision for families. Addiction affects health, relationships, finances, work, and emotional stability. The right treatment program can help a person begin recovery with professional support.

rnrn

Treatment options vary. Some people need inpatient rehab, where they live at the facility and receive structured care. Others may choose outpatient treatment, where they attend therapy while continuing to live at home.

rnrn

Inpatient treatment may be helpful for people with severe addiction, unsafe home environments, repeated relapse, or co-occurring mental health concerns. Outpatient care may work for people with strong support systems and less severe symptoms.

rnrn

Detox may be necessary before treatment begins, especially for substances that can cause withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox helps manage withdrawal safely under professional supervision.

rnrn

A quality treatment center should offer individualized treatment plans. Addiction recovery is not one-size-fits-all. People may need therapy, group counseling, medication-assisted treatment, mental health support, family counseling, and relapse prevention planning.

rnrn

Families should ask about licensing, staff qualifications, treatment methods, medical support, aftercare planning, and insurance coverage.

rnrn

Cost is an important concern. Some rehab centers accept private insurance, Medicaid, or payment plans. Families should verify coverage before admission to avoid surprise bills.

rnrn

Aftercare is one of the most important parts of recovery. Treatment should not end when a person leaves the facility. Ongoing therapy, support groups, sober living, and relapse prevention can help maintain progress.

rnrn

Families should avoid programs that promise instant cures. Recovery takes time, honesty, and support.

rnrn

The best addiction treatment center is one that treats the whole person, not just the substance use. With the right care, recovery is possible.

Space Exploration and the Search for Life Beyond Earth

Space exploration has fascinated humanity for generations, inspiring scientific discoveries and technological innovation. Governments and private companies are investing billions of dollars into missions designed to explore the Moon, Mars, and distant regions of the universe. Advances in rocket technology, satellite systems, and astronomy are expanding human understanding of space and the possibility of life beyond Earth.

rnrn

One major goal of modern space programs is establishing long-term human presence on other planets. Space agencies such as NASA and private companies are developing technologies that could allow astronauts to live and work on Mars in the future. Scientists believe Mars may contain evidence of ancient water systems and potentially microbial life forms that existed billions of years ago.

rnrn

Space exploration also contributes significantly to technological advancement on Earth. Satellite technology supports communication systems, weather forecasting, navigation services, and disaster management worldwide. Medical research conducted in space environments has also improved healthcare technologies and scientific understanding of human biology.

rnrn

However, space exploration faces major challenges including high costs, radiation exposure, and the difficulty of sustaining human life in extreme environments. Long-duration missions require advanced life support systems, reliable energy sources, and protection from cosmic radiation.

rnrn

Despite these challenges, interest in space exploration continues growing globally. Scientists believe future discoveries could provide valuable information about planetary systems, the origins of the universe, and the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Space exploration represents one of humanity’s greatest scientific and technological ambitions.
