MisRed shared her story with zimeye on how she managed to publish the book. “It was the most difficult thing I did because I was sharing the vulnerability that I rarely share. Radio personality and influencer Samantha “MisRed” Musa says it was not easy to compile her new book titled “Be Faithful To Your Happiness”.
“I started writing the ‘Be Faithful To Your Happiness’ conversations about two years ago and I’ve been meditating and journaling over it during this period. “The more I dug, the more I saw how important it was to share what I had gone through, not for myself but for those who may have been in similar situations and felt stuck.
“Yes its lessons from my life, I don’t believe in failure, I believe in lessons so I have so many of them to share based on my life,” she said. MisRed also related this book to the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, telling the world not to give up on life especially on happiness, for happiness is key to success. “The book is about being faithful to your happiness in whatever form that may be.
“Everyone went through the pandemic and is still very much dealing with the ripple effects of it, but everyday you must make a choice to have honest conversations with yourself about what can make you smile or what can make you want to feel better in the midst of the chaos, it starts in the mind,” MisRed said.
MisRed is Encouraging people especially the youths to read it mostly during these difficult times and technological error, where everything moves faster: “A lot of experiences that we are having now are designed not necessarily to allow us to take a moment and just see life for what it is but see life through the lenses of so many other people at a really fast pace”.
She then encouraged the upcoming authors not to be afraid to share their stories to the world for their stories are important and may inspire a lot of people. Copies of the book will be available in major book stores from next week.
