According to a statement published by a local newspaper Daily News, Mike Chimombe said he was shocked to learn that he had tested positive for Covid-19 but vowed to come back stronger.

After testing positive this past week, I immediately went into self-isolation to safeguard myself and those around me.

I was stunned when my results returned positive because I had not been showing any signs or symptoms of the virus.

But I just told myself that it’s now a part of us and like any other disease it can be beaten, he said.

Mike Chimombe is a legal practitioner who once held the prestigious position of the President of the Affirmative Action Group for Mashonaland West in 2016.

According to Pindula, he is said to be a loan shark with deep ties within the top hierarchy of the ruling party Zanu Pf. He also has business interests in fuel.

In 2018 the flamboyant businessman threw an All-Black party at Ginimbi’s Club Sankayi, the party was characterized by glitz and glamour, he even washed his hands champagne worth US$300.

Judgement Yard’s DJ Flevah told the Sunday Mail Society that Mike Chimombo was following in the footsteps of his friend Ginimbi by hosting the All-Black party.

Many people are familiar with Ginimbi’s all-white parties and this time around Mike has decided to go with the all-black theme, but what I can assure you is that the vibe will still be the same, he said
