Tyra Chikocho popularly known as Madam Boss has been verified on Facebook. It was long-awaited recognition for one of the country's most popular comedians as she boasts of almost 400 000 followers on her Facebook page and almost a million followers across all social media platforms.
The comedic star announced the achievement by posting pictures of herself. Madam Boss was clearly excited by the recognition as she made multiple posts about it across social media. In one post on Instagram the comedian wrote
Ayah mapikicha aya tichanzwa nawo aya uumm. Yazopihwa zvimwe blue tiki riya
Fans poured in with congratulatory messages for the star and many on Instagram indicated that she should be verified there too. Madam Boss recently released a gospel song titled Mandip zvose and this signified her going back to her roots. Madam Boss started off her career in gospel music before she ventured into comedy. Fans were elated at the new track and 2020 seems like the year comedians venture into music as fellow comedian Mai Titi has been releasing music this year too.
Madam Boss started her career as a gospel musician around 2010/2011 but she was not able to establish herself firmly in the gospel music industry. She composed songs like Sunungura in 2012 which is one of her more successful tracks.
Madam Boss kept on singing and in 2015 she released Munetsiwa Aripano, which had a video that featured her husband known as Mhofu. Madam Boss has long said Mhofu is the pillar of her career as he is the one who organises and negotiates endorsement deals for her brand.
Madam Boss was recently in the eye of a social media storm after the comedian published a video of herself impersonating the Liberation War Heroine "Mbuya Nehanda" whose statue had started a debate across the divide and an internet challenge.
Madam boss, however, took it a step further than the rest as she covered herself in dirt from head to toe to act out a skit of her being possessed. In the video depicting a possessed Madam boss, she says Mbuya Nehanda’s spirit is upon her and she goes on to call upon other liberation heroes like Josiah Tongogara among others.
To add to Madam Boss woes Madzibaba Skyneg, a man of the cloth recently took to social media to say he has seen a prophetic vision relating to a prominent Zimbabwean.
The man of God took to Facebook to share a prophecy involving Tyra Chikocho who is popularly known as Madam Boss and her family. Madzibaba Skyneg is a white cloth prophet of the well known Mapostori sect and his message was chilling. The Madzibaba said the celebrity needs very specific prayers before the 28th of December.
This message came after another prophecy from a Pastor based in South Africa was making rounds on social media about a Zimbabwean entertainer that may die before 2020 ends. The man of God in his prophecy did not reveal the name of the person but he pointed out that the person is a female comedian and she will succumb to a skin disease.
The pastor also pointed out that he had contacted the person who is the subject of the prophecy but they did not respond to him hence he was making it public.
