Dear all,
We have been made aware of some very alarming falsehoods that are being peddled by opportunistic individuals posing as journalists. We would like you to note the following;
1. Jay Israel has not been denied bail, there has not been a bail hearing held, as soon as we receive a verdict on his bail application we will update his followers.
2. Jay Israel only has 1 passport and that is his legitimate travel document. He has never held any other forms of travel documents and therefore he is not arrested for this reason.
3. The issue of permits and visas is very sensitive to a lot of people. Millions of immigrants who stay in countries such as South Africa, UK, America, Australia etc left their home countries unwillingly but external circumstances pushed them to relocate, some including for protection, some for economical reasons. No one just leaves their home country without reason because as they say, there is no place like home. With that said we would like everyone to know that comments of a Xenophobic nature only serve to reveal the true nature of the individuals who say them. So many people are in South Africa seeking a better life for themselves and their families as this country happens to be a democratic country full of potential and opportunities for growth and expansion. Every country in the world has immigrants.
While it may be funny to you to comment negatively about such a sensitive issue such as a person’s immigration status, we would like individuals affected by those comments to note that we do not support Xenophobic comments and neither do we associate with individuals who express baseless hateful comments.
4. Jay Israel does not currently have and has never held a fake permit.
As much as we would like to, we can not disclose information surrounding an ongoing investigation. Therefore for legal reasons we can not itemise the allegations being leveled against Jay Israel. For personal reasons as well, we will not rob Jay Israel of his right to share his own story, therefore those of you waiting to hear what he is accused of, your patience is greatly appreciated for when he is out and able to speak on his own behalf.
5. Legal proceedings against individuals who are using Jay Israel’s name to peddle falsehoods about an ongoing case have been launched.
6. No prophet or man of God has contributed anything towards Jay Israel’s case and this remains the case.
We are not Jay Israel, he might tolerate people lying with his name, however we will not. Attacks against his character are not our concern, however those who are speaking about an ongoing case will be held accountable. We would like to know the members in authority they claim to be working with as well.
While we may be people who love and fear God. We will not sit and watch people paint an individual we know to be a good person, to be what he is not. If you are not interested in Jay Israel or his messages, you are more than welcome to leave his pages.
