Comic Pastor Goes To Kwekwe Polytechnic To Find Out Why Student are Being Fed Bread-Hot Water & Cabbage & Sadza Daily

Comic Pastor is know for his community service and he is trying to help Students at Kwekwe Polytechnic get better meals after their meal were posted . Student are fed bread and hot water for breakfast and survive on Sadza and cabbage for lunch and dinner everyday .Below is an image of the meal students are getting.

Kwekwe Poly feeds students pathetic sadza and cabbage meals daily

KWEKWE, Zimbabwe. (News of the South) – Students at Kwekwe Polytechnic risk malnutrition as the college feeds them sadza and cabbages daily.

On Mondays students eat bread and boiled water (without sugar and tea) for breakfast. Students eat sadza and cabbages for lunch and sadza daily from Monday to Sunday.

Tuesdays and Thursdays students eat porridge for breakfast while nothing is served for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.

The meals provide mainly carbohydrates from staple food maize meal served either as porridge or sadza.

Provision of bread and boiled water on Mondays , Wednesdays and Fridays means students should bring their own sugar, milk and tea.
According to journalist Hopewell Chin’ono who was jailed for 42 days, this menu served at Kwekwe Polytechnic is also the one served for prisoners at Chikubhi Maximum Prison.
