Alick Macheso’s wife Nyadzisai opens up on marital woes. This comes a few days after the couple had a rare moment of public display of affection after she kissed the musician on stage. Macheso was performing with his sons Esau and Tatenda when Nyadzisai kissed him much to the delight of the fans.

Sungura Maestro Alick Macheso’s wife Nyadzisai has opened up on her relationship with the musician. Nyadzisai narrated the hardships that she endured during the marriage’s nascent stages and proclaimed her enduring and undying love for the musician.

In an interview with H-Metro‘s Takawira ‘Photovet Unlimited’ Dapi, Macheso’s wife Nyadzisai narrated the couple’s journey from the beginning. Said Nyadzisai,

Let us love each other in both very bad and good times. There are many who don’t know what the Macheso family went through, how we suffered from the time my husband used to walk from Chitungwiza to recording companies in Msasa, leaving me breastfeeding, with no food for days.
Who doesn’t know the wars that traumatised the Orchestra Mberikwazvo band, it was tough for Baba Sharo, handairara ini vachisvimha misodzi nekushungurudzwa nenhamo nevanhu, but I never looked back I comforted Alick as his wife and friend.

I kiss my husband Macheso in public to show the world I am still madly in love with him, I did not leave him, I stood by his side and he stuck by me too up to this day. It pains me daily when I hear stories of young people divorcing over issues that require counselling.
Baba Sharo makes me feel loved, he makes my mind at ease and I’m confident that his is a trustworthy arm, he shoulders all my pains and makes my dreams come true. Nyadzisai also said that she was thrilled that her sons were following in their father’s footsteps in doing music.
