A Local Elite Private School in Harare St Georges College has for the first time in its 124-year-old history enrolled Girls. The Catholic school run by Jesuit Priests was a predominantly male student institution and the change in enrolment has been welcomed. According to the school authorities, having female students will add balance to the College and also serve as a foundation in preparing the male students for university. For 2020, The school will enrol 31 female students for Lower 6 with plans to double the enrolment in 2021.
