Very Sad Story?| A 34-year-old man, Tawanda Sengu, is demanding a DNA test after his pregnant wife, Lizzy Katsiga, died during an operation at Parirenyatwa Hospital. Doctors initially told him that both his wife and unborn baby had died, and his family collected and buried his wife's body. However, they were never given the baby's body or told where it was. While he was burying his wife, another doctor called him and said he should come and collect the baby's body from the hospital. When hospital staff later tried to hand over a toddler's body to him, he refused to accept it because he was unsure whether it was really his child. He is now demanding a DNA test before accepting the body.
A Toyota Hilux GD6 travelling from Nyamapanda towards Mutoko was involved in a fatal accident after the driver failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into a tree. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire. Sadly, the driver was unable to get out of the vehicle in time and died in the inferno.
