The level of lawlessness ? | A Harare resident from Tynwald has been fined about US$12,000 by the City of Harare for installing a speed hump without approval, in violation of the Roads Act. . In a letter dated December 5, 2025, the City of Harare’s Director of Works, Isiah Chawatama, said the speed hump was built without permission. The homeowner has was ordered to pay a penalty of US$12,450.50 within seven days, or the amount will be added to their rates account. The speed hump must also be removed within 48 hours. In the video, he mentioned some of his close relatives, including Liberty Simango, his father Mr Madondo, and his sisters Vimbai Madondo and Vimbiso Madondo. He is appealing to his family to come and take him back to Zimbabwe, as he wishes to see them before his condition worsens. Police in Chitungwiza are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Anxious Bhonda (30) who is being sought in connection with a case of murder which occurred in Unit J, Zengeza. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim, Troy Chipuriro (26) with a nife on the hand and leg after an .... argument over a girlfriend. The victim died on the spot. Meanwhile, Nathan Nyoni (21) is being sought in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Mutambisi Business Centre, Gokwe on 24/02/26.
