After 7 years ZanuPf Claims Its Investigating Itai Dzamara’s Abduction, President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s regime claims it is seized with investigations to determine the whereabouts of political activist Itai Dzamara who was abducted nearly seven years ago. Dzamara was abducted on 9 March 2015 by five men while he was at a barbers’ shop in Harare’s Glen View suburb. His whereabouts remain unknown. ZBC Presenter Admits To Fabricating Rape Allegations In Audio Played In Court

The Harare magistrates’ court today heard that ZBC Presenter, Rutendo Makuti  fabricated rape charges from her frustration  that the Goodness and Mercy Ministries prophet T Freddy was no longer intrested in the relationship. In an audio played in court by the prophet’s defence counsel, Makuti confessed that she got angry and forced her way to Goodness and Mercy Ministries church when their relationship started fading. The court case involving Goodness and Mercy Ministries church leader, Tapiwa Freddy and ZBC  Radio Zimbabwe presenter Rutendo Makuti has taken a new twist after it emerged that she consented to the sexual act and seduced the man of God by sending him nude pictures. As the trial resumed today, the court heard that the complainant used nude pictures, audio and text messages to demand sex from Prophet T Freddy. Zimeye reports that the nude pictures, audios and text messages were produced in court as evidence. 89 000 Border Jumpers Arrested So Far

AT least 89 000 people have so far been arrested in an ongoing police blitz to curb cross-border crime amid the tightening of security along the country’s borders. Code-named “No to Cross Border Crimes/Fhasi Ngamilandu Yamukanoni/Mhosva Pamiganhu Ngadzipere/Amacala Kawaphele Emingceleni Yelizwe” the operation was launched last year targeting those who violate the Immigration Act. Already, some of the suspects were fined while others are expected to appear in court after being vetted. Judge Says Marry Mubaiwa Never Forged Marriage License With VP Chiwenga

The National Prosecuting Authority suffered a fresh blow on Tuesday in Marry Mubaiwa’s trial on fraud charges when a High Court judge denied he had issued her a marriage licence or certificate without the knowledge of her estranged husband, vice president Constantino Chiwenga. GOVERNMENT doctors have certified Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga’s estranged wife Marry Mubaiwa fit to stand trial, but her lawyers dismissed the medical report as dubious. Mary Chiwenga Abuda D High Court Orders Her Release From Chikurubhi

The High Court on Monday ordered the release from 10-day custody of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga's estranged wife, Marry Mubaiwa, who was detained by a magistrate for the purposes of undergoing a mental examination.   Mubaiwa is facing a string of trials on separate charges, but her lawyers said she is no physical or mental state to sit through the trials. Controversial founder and leader of Goodness and Mercy Ministries Prophet T Freddy has been arrested by police on allegations of rape. Prophet T Freddy stands accused of sexually assaulting  33-year-old ZBC Radio presenter Rutendo Makuti on several occasions after her husband died in 2019. Over 1 Million People Have Been Arrested For Violating Covid-19 Regulations In Zimbabwe

Police have arrested 1, 2 million people for violating Covid-19 regulations since the start of the lockdown in March last year. In their twitter page, police said 2 934 people were arrested on October 31 for breaching Covid-19 regulations. “The ZRP reminds members of the public that Covid-19 safety regulations are still in force. As at 31 October a total of 1 225 225 people were arrested for various offences related to Covid-19 since 30 March 2020.
