Well done ZRP? | The two conmen who scammed many people in Harare have finally been arrested. They mainly targeted farmers and businesses that advertised online. The two are being held at Braeside Police Station and face more than a dozen charges.

Previous Post: A group of individuals has been scamming citizens across the country, with reported cases dating as far back as 2022. One of the key perpetrators, Agrippa Chivenge, is well-known to law enforcement, yet for reasons unknown, he continues to evade arrest. They reportedly move around in a silver Toyota Hilux double cab and use multiple fake number plates to avoid identification.

Their modus operandi is to pose as genuine buyers interested in high-value items. During the transaction, they switch the real money and leave behind a bundle of Bond notes hidden inside, with a single real USD note placed on top to deceive the seller.

Countless citizens have lost thousands of dollars, and many have opened official cases against these men — but no action has been taken.
