In response to Fadzayi Mahere’s question on X about the Mbudzi deal involving Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu, Wicknell Chivayo said her questions were pointless because the matters had already been decided by the Supreme Court. He accused her of not understanding the Gwanda Solar Project or the law and suggested her criticism was politically motivated.
Chivayo also defended his past criminal conviction as something from his youth that no longer matters, saying he has since rebuilt his life and contributes to the country by creating jobs. He also emphasised his support for President Mnangagwa and ZANU PF, claiming her attacks are driven by jealousy or bitterness.
Here is what Wicknell Chivayo posted on his X account: Dear Sisi Fadzi,
The most HONOURABLE thing you could have simply done is to ADMIT that your so-called “questions” were nothing more than RHETORICAL and empty issues that have already been COMPREHENSIVELY addressed and CONCLUSIVELY settled by the Supreme Court. This may have preserved the little DIGNITY remaining of you and your DIMINISHED political career. Instead of simply CONCEDING that your entire line of “cross-examination” was baseless and EMBARRASSINGLY ignorant of the Supreme Court judgement, you have now desperately chosen to RESURRECT old and TIRED scripts about historical issues which no one really cares about except YOURSELF?. Waona ka kuti pa Gwanda Solar Project hauna ma facts and you have ZERO comprehension of the subject matter and legal issues thereof ???. Don’t try to hide your INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY behind cheap political theatrics which you confuse with activism.
I am a very busy individual, with LITTLE time to respond to nondescript and DESPERATE individuals as yourself who seek ATTENTION by using ANCIENT events to fight present battles. I would have expected BETTER from you to be honest. As an officer of the court, you ought to be the first to know that any conviction under appeal is NOT FINAL. That is a foundational principle of criminal procedure, one that even a FIRST-YEAR law student understands. Either you are hopelessly IGNORANT of the law, or you have allowed your political desperation to consume what remains of your legal ethics. You MASQUERADE as a champion of justice, yet you weaponize half-truths and manipulate narratives to suit your agenda !!!
Hapana CHINOSHAMISIRA about the so called “conviction” which happened 21 YEARS ago. I was young and AMBITIOUS back then, SO WHAT??♂️ ?. I reflected, rebuilt and REDEFINED myself. That is what the justice system is designed to do anyway and one would have thought that as a wanna-be “ADVOCATE”, you would know better. Rather, you preach DEMOCRACY during the day but practise DISCRIMINATION when you remove your jabot. You are an epitome and proof of INTOLERANCE and polarisation.
The REAL “crime” that I have committed in your mind Advocate, is that I have ACTIVELY exercised my Constitutional right to support a President and a political party of my choice, ZANU PF, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency PRESIDENT DR. E.D. MNANGAGWA. Zvinokurwadza and zvicharamba zvichikubaya moyo !!! You clearly cannot reconcile the idea of a young, successful, PATRIOTIC Zimbabwean businessman who openly supports the RULING PARTY and yet remain UNAPOLOGETICALLY loyal to it despite your daily rhetorical UNINFORMED criticism. This is the real reason for your OBSESSION with me. In fact, if by any stretch of your IMAGINATION I were ever to wake up and say “Pamberi naChamisa” (which will NEVER happen anyway ?????), you would immediately change goalposts mavekuti “Sir Wicknell HUCHI,” and start singing praises overnight. You are political CHAMELEONS so don’t pretend to be a moral crusader. FACT CHECK, I will never apologize for standing with my President and ZANU PF, never !!!
And by the way, I am a father of two BEAUTIFUL children and a husband to a graceful and LOVING wife. I wake up every morning to WORK HARD and in the process create jobs for THOUSANDS of people. That is my small contribution to the DEVELOPMENT of our Country. I do not even know you personally, and even if I were to meet you today, I would not RECOGNIZE you beyond the BITTERNESS that oozes from all your posts.
They say you are “SHORT” and sour-tempered but still, I would NEVER lose a single minute of SLEEP over you. I have MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR businesses to run and GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS to meet across Africa and beyond. While you waste hours drafting insults on SOCIAL MEDIA, I spend mine negotiating contracts in PRESIDENTIAL STATE HOUSE'S , police escort from the TARMAC at airports by security details in FOREIGN countries that value development over CHEAP politics.

Structured Settlement vs Lump Sum Payment
Structured Settlement vs Lump Sum Payment
A structured settlement pays money over time instead of giving the full amount upfront. Structured settlements are common in injury cases, insurance claims, and lawsuit settlements.
A lump sum settlement pays all the money at once. Both options have benefits and risks.
Benefits of Structured Payments
Structured payments can provide steady income and help prevent spending the money too quickly. They may be helpful for future medical care, living expenses, or long-term support.
Benefits of Lump Sum Payments
A lump sum gives immediate access to cash. This may help pay off debt, buy a home, cover medical bills, or invest.
However, receiving all the money at once requires strong financial discipline.
Selling a Structured Settlement
Some people sell future payments for cash now. This can provide quick money, but the amount received may be less than the total future value.
Conclusion
Before choosing or selling a settlement, consider long-term needs and speak with a financial professional.
