I want to name and shame ZIMRA. In August, I sent a package to Botswana for a relative and they only paid P1000 duty when it arrived.

 

Today, I tried to send a much cheaper parcel to Zimbabwe. The postage was even lower, but the lady at the post office told me the person receiving it would have to pay US$946. ???

 

 

 

 

What kind of sorcery is this? Does it mean we can’t even send simple gifts to family and friends in Zimbabwe?
