United Kingdom - Raymond Sithole, a 27-year-old man of Zimbabwean heritage living in Slough, has been jailed for 11 years for raping a teenage girl.
Sithole, of Long Furlong Drive, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday, 21 September 2026, following a three-week trial. He had pleaded not guilty to one count of rape but was convicted by a unanimous jury.
According to Thames Valley Police, the investigation began in July 2023 after officers received a report that a teenage girl had been raped by three men at a property in Slough.
Police said all three men were identified and arrested on 5 July 2023. They were subsequently charged on 19 May 2025.
Detective Constable Daniel May, the investigating officer, described the case as a “deeply distressing and complex investigation” and praised the victim’s courage in giving evidence.
“The victim has shown extraordinary courage throughout this investigation and subsequent trial, providing evidence and reliving the trauma she experienced in order to help secure justice,” he said.
May also thanked witnesses who supported the investigation and testified in court, saying their evidence had helped hold the offenders accountable.
“I hope this outcome provides the victim and her family with some measure of closure, and demonstrates Thames Valley Police’s commitment to pursuing those who commit serious sexual offences and bringing them before the courts,” he said.
The two other men convicted alongside Sithole were also sentenced at Reading Crown Court on 21 September.
Teague Rose, 36, of Chantry Close, Windsor, received 12 years and 10 months in prison for one count of rape and one count of attempted rape.
Delwyn Rose, 28, of Mead Avenue, Slough, was jailed for 11 years for three counts of rape.
Both had pleaded not guilty.
