Two Zimbabwean aged 23 and 24, were arrested by the South African Police in the Booysens area of Gauteng

MaZimba ari kuvhura hombe kuSouth Africa | Two men, aged 23 and 24, were arrested by the South African Police in the Booysens area of Gauteng. The police were patrolling the Rifle Range Road at around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 29 July 2025.

 

The suspects were caught transporting 48 boxes of cough syrup in a truck. The medicine is worth about R819,000.

 

 

 

 

When asked where the medicine came from, they said it was from Cape Town and on its way to Zimbabwe. However, they couldn’t explain who sent them.

 

 

 

 

 

They were arrested for breaking the Medicine Act 101 of 1965 and for having suspected stolen goods. They will appear in court soon.And south african are called names when they react
