The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has released the names of five people

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has released the names of five people who died in a fatal road traffic accident along the Harare–Nyamapanda Road on the night of 12 November 2025.

 

According to police, the crash occurred at around 20:55 hours at the 68-kilometre peg when a Toyota Hilux carrying four passengers rammed into the back of a stationary Iveco 10-tonne truck. All five occupants of the Hilux, including the driver, were pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Police confirmed that the victims were identified by their next of kin as:

Spiwe Pfupa (42) – female adult, Adeline, Westgate, Harare

 

Pardon Kaseke (17) – male juvenile, Adeline, Westgate, Harare

 

Peter Kashiri (39) – male adult, Adeline, Westgate, Harare

 

Winnet Chimbwanda (28) – female adult, Adeline, Westgate, Harare 

 

Doves managed the funeral arrangements.

“His loss is profoundly felt across the church and among all who knew him.

“May they find comfort in the love and prayers that surround them during this difficult time. May Rev Kaseke’s soul rest in eternal peace.”

As the head of the Harare Central District, Rev Kaseke led several congregations, including Highfield, Glen Norah, Glen View, Budiriro, and Mhondoro United Methodist Churches.
