According to an official police press statement released on 15th September 2026, the trio and their accomplices—who remain at large—attacked a company located at Borders Estate, Ruwa, on 13th September 2026 at approximately 0030 hours. The gang attacked and restrained company employees before stealing USD 108,000.00 in cash.

- Tinei Makaripe (47): Captured on site by company workers after he fell to the ground while attempting to scale a perimeter wall during the escape. He was immediately handed over to the police.
- Pungurayi Mukumbachaza: Apprehended by detectives in Damofalls Phase 1, Harare. Police searched his vehicle and recovered USD 4,900.00 hidden inside.
- Gabriel Mukumbachaza (41): Arrested at his rural home in Rusape. During the arrest, law enforcement officers recovered USD 5,000.00 in cash alongside an array of criminal equipment.
