Comedienne Felistas Murata, popularly known as Mai TT, was Tuesday convicted of theft of trust property by Harare magistrate Munashe Chibanda.
The State wants Mai TT remanded in custody to give them time to check for records on any previous convictions.
Prosecutor Magwenzi argued that she is a woman of means and could abscond.
