A Zimbabwean gospel singer and pastor, Walter Chahwanda (33), of Plemonstall Court in Chester, has been charged following his arrest by Merseyside Police on 13 March 2025. Authorities allege that Chahwanda is responsible for rape, assault by penetration, and sending indecent photographs or videos intended to cause alarm, distress or humiliation.
