Senior Methodist Church Pastor DiesThe Methodist Church in Zimbabwe has announced the death of Reverend Ranganai Makuvaza, a senior pastor who served in the Kwekwe West Circuit under the Kadoma District.

In a death notice released on Wednesday, the church confirmed that Rev Makuvaza passed away in the early hours of the morning in GweruIt is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Rev Ranganai Makuvaza, faithful servant of God in Kwekwe West Circuit, Kadoma District, who fell asleep in the Lord this morning in Gweru,” read the statement.

The church expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and the wider Methodist community, describing the late pastor as a devoted servant who committed his life to the work of God.“Our prayers and condolences go to his family, friends, Kwekwe West Circuit, the Kadoma District and the entire MCZ community,” the statement added.

Rev Dr Paradza, the Mission Director, said further details regarding funeral arrangements and memorial services would be communicated in due course.
The passing of Rev Makuvaza has been met with sadness across the Methodist Church, where he was known for his dedication to ministry and pastoral care.
