Mukomana Wekuziva Ku UK Uko Osungwa Nekuti Anvisira Musikana Condomu Panguva Yekudya Bota Zvanyadzisa

man has been jailed for four years and three months after being charged with rape as he removed a condom without the woman he was having s......ex with knowing.

Guy Mukendi, 39 and from Brixton, south London, was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court after being found guilty on 2 April.

A young woman in Brixton reported the assault on 9 May last year. She had consented to having s....ex with Mukendi as long as he wore a condom. But during the encounter, he removed the protection without her knowledge.

The Metropolitan Police said the victim was supported during the "extremely difficult time" as soon as she first reported the incident.

Police worked with the victim to obtain screenshots of messages Mukendi sent where he apologised for taking the condom off, and where he sought to explain his actions by saying he had not had se...x in a long time.

He then deleted the messages but the screenshots contributed to securing his conviction.

Prosecutions for non-consensual condom removal, which is classified as rape under English and Welsh law, are very rare due to under-reporting, the police said.Detective Constable Jack Earl, who led the investigation, said: "Throughout this investigation Mukendi denied any wrongdoing - but our officers built a compelling case against him to leave no doubt in the jury's mind.

"We were dedicated to securing justice for the victim and will continue to raise awareness that this crime is a form of rape.

"The victim did the right thing to call the police straight away and her bravery should not be overshadowed. If you have been a victim of sexu..al violence and not yet reported it - please contact your local police service and we will do all that we can to help and bring you justice."

Police urged anyone who is victim of non-consensual condom removal to report the assault immediately by calling 101 or reporting the crime online. In case of an emergency, they should call 999

Workers Compensation Lawyer: Claim Denial Help

Workers Compensation Lawyer: Claim Denial Help

If you were injured at work, you may qualify for workers compensation benefits. These benefits can help pay for medical care and lost wages. However, many injured employees face delays, denials, or low payments. A workers compensation lawyer can help protect your rights.

A workers comp attorney handles claims involving workplace injuries, denied benefits, employer disputes, and insurance company problems. They can help gather medical records, file appeals, and represent you during hearings.

Why Claims Get Denied

A denied workers comp claim may happen for many reasons. The insurance company may say the injury did not happen at work, the claim was filed late, medical evidence is not strong enough, or the worker can return to work sooner than expected.

A workplace injury lawyer can review the denial letter and help respond with stronger evidence.

What Benefits May Cover

Workers compensation benefits may cover doctor visits, surgery, therapy, medication, partial lost wages, disability benefits, and vocational rehabilitation.

Final Thoughts

If your workers compensation claim was denied, do not give up. A workers compensation lawyer can help appeal the decision and fight for the benefits you may deserve.
