Love Counselling Goes Wrong: ZRP Officer ends up in hospital

A police officer from Budiriro Police Station was injured after being attacked by three men and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Constable Blessing Mutoko, aged 33, works in the Victim Friendly Unit. He was injured after a fight that happened in Budiriro, Harare. Police say the incident started after Mutoko had been counselling a couple involved in a domestic violence case.

After the counselling, Mutoko exchanged contact details with the woman and later met her at a lodge near the police station. After the meeting, they went their separate ways. The woman’s husband and his relatives later confronted Mutoko and questioned him about his relationship with her.

Mutoko tried to escape by getting into a commuter omnibus, but the three men followed him, pulled him out of the vehicle, and assaulted him. He suffered injuries to his face and nose and was taken to hospital.

A member of the public reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of the three suspects. The case has been officially recorded, and investigations are ongoing.

Best CRM Software For Small Business Growth

Customer relationships are the heart of every business. As a company grows, it becomes harder to track leads, follow-ups, sales calls, emails, customer history, and deals manually. That is where CRM software can help.

rnrn

CRM stands for customer relationship management. It helps businesses organize customer information, manage sales pipelines, track communication, and improve follow-up.

rnrn

The best CRM software for small business should be easy to use. A complicated system may frustrate employees and go unused. Small businesses need software that saves time, not creates more work.

rnrn

Important CRM features include contact management, lead tracking, email integration, task reminders, sales pipeline views, reporting, automation, and mobile access.

rnrn

A good CRM helps prevent missed opportunities. For example, if a customer asks for a quote, the CRM can remind the sales team to follow up. If a lead is close to buying, the system can help track the next step.

rnrn

CRM software can also improve customer service. Team members can see past conversations, purchase history, complaints, and preferences. This helps customers feel remembered and valued.

rnrn

Automation is another benefit. A CRM can send follow-up emails, assign leads, create tasks, and track deal progress automatically.

rnrn

Before choosing a CRM, consider your business size, budget, sales process, number of users, and integration needs. Some businesses need a simple contact system, while others need advanced sales automation.

rnrn

Pricing can vary. Some CRM platforms charge per user per month. Others offer free plans with limited features.

The right CRM can help a small business close more deals, stay organized, and build stronger customer relationships.

A CRM is not just software. It is a system for making sure customers do not fall through the cracks.

Mental Health Awareness and Emotional Well-Being

Mental health is an important aspect of overall well-being that affects emotions, thoughts, and behavior. Anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional burnout have become increasingly common due to modern lifestyles, financial pressure, social expectations, and digital overload.

rnrn

One major reason mental health awareness has grown is the recognition that emotional well-being affects physical health, relationships, and workplace productivity. Many organizations now provide mental health support programs, counseling services, and wellness initiatives to help employees manage stress effectively.

rnrn

Technology has expanded access to mental health resources through teletherapy platforms, meditation apps, and online counseling services. Social media campaigns and public awareness initiatives are helping reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health challenges.

rnrn

However, barriers such as limited healthcare access, cultural stigma, and financial constraints still prevent many individuals from seeking help. Experts emphasize the importance of supportive communities, education, and professional mental health services in improving emotional well-being.

rnrn

Mental health awareness continues becoming a global priority as societies recognize the importance of emotional balance and psychological support for overall quality of life.
