JUST IN | Apostle Batsirai Java, the brother of Prophet Passion Java, is reportedly on the run after police accused him of treason and other offences linked to a leaked audio recording.

The recording, which began circulating on social media in May 2026, contains claims about businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei's influence over the government and Zimbabwe's political leadership. Authorities say the audio also encouraged the military to remove President Emmerson Mnangagwa from power.

Police raided Java's home and church and arrested some of his close aides while searching for him.
