Sources claim the procedure was allegedly carried out at a residence within the doctors’ accommodation area at Harare Hospital. However, it remains unclear whether the procedure was authorised, properly conducted, or complied with medical and legal requirements.
Following complications, Juliana was reportedly admitted to Harare Hospital, where she underwent surgery on Sunday. Friends say she initially survived the operation and was expected to be discharged on Monday, but doctors reportedly kept her under observation because she remained weak. She sadly passed away on Tuesday morning.
The allegations have raised concerns among relatives and members of the community, who are questioning the circumstances surrounding her death and the whereabouts of the doctor mentioned in the claims.
Family members are understood to have reported the matter to Mbare Police Station and are calling for a thorough, transparent, and independent investigation by the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Harare Hospital authorities, and other relevant agencies.
