#RIP LEGEND Legendary former Dynamos player and coach, David George, has died. He was 71 years old.
David George reportedly died at his home in Glen Norah, Harare on Saturday after a prolonged illness, The Sunday News.Known as ‘Broom Boy’ during his prime, George left an indelible mark as a formidable player in the 1970s. His coaching career extended beyond Dynamos, as he also guided the Motor Action Football Club.Legendary former Dynamos captain and midfielder Memory Mucherahowa also paid tribute to George saying;
“David George gone. takambozama kubatsiridzana kuti zviite asi Mwari vatanha ruva ravo. Zororai murugare Bla D,” he said.
Additionally, another former Dynamos player, Justice Majabvi, shared his condolences.
