Apostle Chiwenga Blasts Makandiwa Guti & Magaya Followers You Are Lunatics Zvituta

Blind following and blind followers have increased in this generation as the number of prophets has always increased. Many Christian analysts have labeled this as a shameful thing while activists defend the notion by implying that it’s a new phase of Revelation.

Blind following and brain washing work hand in hand and in most cases is mostly identified in non liberal churches such as Pentecostals. Apostle Chiwenga gave a deep analysis concerning this issue and gave an example of the encounter of Jesus during his trial .Pontius Pilate asked the people who shall I release to you ,despite all the good things that Jesus had done and all the bad things that Barabas had done for them ,they shouted give us the murderer .
The Apostle gave two bible verses which explain this clearly ; Acts 3:14, : “You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. And he also read from

2 Corinthians 11:20, : “For you tolerate it if anyone enslaves you, if anyone devours you, if anyone takes advantage of you, if anyone exalts himself, if anyone hits you in the face.”

These verses show us that this is not a new thing but humanity has always been like that from the days of Jesus, the bible warned of the people who steal, manipulate and destroy mindsets yet the society embraces from thieves.
The law society has even come out with a term of this; they call it undue influence implying the power that a man of God has over a mere congregant in making decisions. Apostle Chiwenga goes on to point that prophets such as Makandiwa or Magaya   has brought many into bondage whilst they assume that they are taking them to Christ.

He labeled all the followers as lunatics ,the level of being fanatic and blind following lack self consciousness and critical thinking but places more authority on the prophet than on God. He added that there are many incidents where men of God rape, extort money and do all sort of nasty things but the congregants still defend those acts.

The Apostle gave an illustration on Mark 9;24  when Jesus wanted to heal a dump child , he asked the father who confirmed that his child was a lunatic but later on the father showed he was a lunatic as well by confirming his belief and asking for deliverance from his unbelief at the same time.  He also directly made a statement on ZAOGA saying all the leaders are abusing Baba Guti because he has become irrelevant and labeled him as a religious Mugabe who failed to raise better leaders who can be successors.
