According to the State’s outline, Patterson Timba allegedly Arrested

Former Renaissance Financial Holdings banker Patterson Timba (59) faces rap€ charges

Timba is set to appear before the Kadoma Magistrates Courts facing rap€ charges this afternoon.

According to the State’s outline, Patterson Timba allegedly rap€d an employee at Tolrose Mine in Kadoma, where he was a director, sometime in October 2023.

The complainant is a security guard at Tolrose Mine, but she had been assigned to do household chores at Timba's home since the housemaid was not there.

When the complainant was about to leave the house, Timba went on to switch off the lights, removed her jean skirt and pants and allegedly went on to rap€ the complainant.

The complainant did not tell anyone immediately after the incident. About two days later, she confided in someone, but she did not receive any help. In September 2025, she told another person, who advised her to report the matter to the police.

She then filed a police report and was referred to Kadoma General Hospital for medical examination. The medical report can be produced in court as evidence.
