?After Sisters Arrived from UK

Mourners who have gathered in Greystone Park and the Chivayo family residence in Borrowdale, Harare, for the funeral wake and service of the late businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke, will now shift to the tycoon's house in Chishawasha Hills (Gletwyn suburb) after his sisters arrived last night from the United Kingdom to secure his property and valuables, which include big sums of money, a family

member has told The NewsHawks.

"The funeral proceedings will move today from the Greystone Park residence, which was his later mother's house, to his own home in Chishawasha or Gletwyn suburb.

We were waiting for the sisters to arrive from the UK to first secure the property and his valuables, including cars, money, precious goods, jewellery, designer clothes and shoes, among many other things in the house, that people can be tempeted to tamper with or steal.

So the sisters arrived last night and we will shift to his home for the funeral services until burial," the family member said.

Chivayo's Chishawasha mansion was secured immediately after his death on Wednesday to prevent theft of his valuables and those of his wife; their family's wealth.

Chivayo owned an opulent Beverly Hills-style US$7-million dollar mansion in the exclusive Chishawasha Hills which he said he bought from former police commissioner Augustine Chihuri.

The controversial tycoon also owned a number of multi-million dollar upmarket houses in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Eswatini and other countries.

Chivayo died with his wife, her personal assistant and two pilots on Wednesday afternoon in a fatal helicopter crash near Marondera, while coming from his rural Gandami home, Chikomba, Mashonaland East, where he was building a rural mansion at his family farm.

Best Personal Loan Rates for Debt Consolidation in 2026

If you are trying to pay off several debts at once, a personal loan for debt consolidation may help simplify your finances. Instead of juggling multiple payments, you can combine balances into one monthly loan payment, which may also lower your interest rate.
rnThis type of article works well because people searching for personal loan rates usually have strong intent. They are not just browsing; they are comparing options and looking for a solution they can use soon. That makes this a strong topic for both search traffic and monetization.

rnBefore choosing a loan, compare the interest rate, repayment term, fees, and total cost. A low monthly payment may look attractive, but a longer term can mean paying more over time. The best loan is not always the one with the lowest advertised rate — it is the one with the best overall terms for your situation.
rnIt is also important to check whether the lender charges an origination fee, prepayment penalty, or late payment fee. These costs can reduce the value of a loan that otherwise looks affordable. If you are comparing offers, always look at the full loan details instead of focusing on one number.
rnDebt consolidation works best when you also change the habits that caused the debt in the first place. That may mean creating a budget, cutting unnecessary spending, and avoiding new balances while you repay the loan. Without that step, consolidation can become temporary relief instead of a long-term solution.
rnSome borrowers may also benefit from comparing secured and unsecured loans. Unsecured loans do not require collateral, while secured loans may offer lower rates but come with more risk. Choosing the right option depends on your credit profile, income, and comfort with risk.

rnIf your credit score is strong, you may qualify for more competitive rates. If your score is lower, improving your credit before applying could make a meaningful difference. Even a small rate improvement can save a lot of money over the life of the loan.
rnThe best personal loan for debt consolidation should make your payments simpler, reduce stress, and help you move toward becoming debt-free.

Mass Tort Lawyer vs Class Action Lawyer: What Is The Difference?

Many people confuse mass torts and class actions. Both involve many people harmed by similar conduct, but they are not the same. A mass tort lawyer or class action lawyer can explain which type of case may apply.

rnrn

In a class action, many people are treated as one group. The claims are usually similar, and one case represents the class.

rnrn

In a mass tort, many people may be harmed by the same product or company, but each person’s injuries may be different. Cases may be handled individually while still being coordinated together.

rnrn

Mass torts often involve dangerous drugs, medical devices, toxic exposure, defective products, or environmental harm.

rnrn

Class actions may involve consumer fraud, data breaches, wage claims, or defective products where damages are similar.

rnrn

Choosing the right legal path matters. A lawyer can review your facts and explain whether your claim fits a class action, mass tort, or individual lawsuit.
