UK-Based Nurse Found Dead in Harare Hotel, Police Probe Underway

 

 

 

Tinotenda Hove - A 35-year-old nurse who had been working in the United Kingdom, Rebecca Yeukai Nguruve, was found dead in a Harare hotel room on Monday, police have confirmed.

 

 

 

 

According to H-Metro, Nguruve arrived in Zimbabwe from the UK on Sunday and checked into the Jameson Hotel in the Harare central business district. Her body was discovered the following morning, Monday, 2 February 2026, at around 9am. The Zimbabwe Republic Police said investigations are underway

 

 

 

 

 

to establish the circumstances surrounding her death. Several substances were reportedly found at the scene, while preliminary indications suggest there were no signs of forced entry. Police said more details will be released as investigations continue.
