Zimbabwean rapper and songwriter Christabell Mahlungwa popularly known as Kikky Badass on the music scene has publicly rubbished claims that she enhanced her body through surgery and pills. In a threaded tweet, the “Kurunga”rapper said she was tired of being harassed by critics who claim that her body is fake. She argued that her body was all natural and dismissed claims that she has taken some enhancement pills and that she went under the knife to secure her body. Kikky Badass revealed that she will not have a boob job just because critics drag her for having small breast. She added that she was born that way and her own mother has a body just like hers. Kikky Badass pleaded with critics to stop body shaming her and spreading lies that her body is fake.

Extravagant businessman and socialite Mike Chimombe has been arrested by the Zimbabwe Republic Police for violating Covid-19 regulations. Chimombe was arrested with his friends Kudakwashe Chigodo (31) and Bruce Moyo (35). The three were arrested after they hosted a public gathering of 300 people from 2100 hours on the 4th of September 2021 to 0330 hours 5th September, 2021. He has in the past moved around the country with controversial cleric Passion Java gathering hundreds of people but had not faced the wrath of the law.Chimombe’s arrest also comes barely a few days after his deputy; Passion Java gathered thousands of Glen View residents, where he donated wardrobes, kitchen units and beds to random people.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Tuesday announced the relaxation of the current COVID-19 Level Four lockdown measures to Level Two. Among other things, curfew hours have been adjusted to between 10 PM and 5.30 AM, while businesses are now allowed to operate from 8 AM up to 7 PM. Restaurants and bars within hotels and lodges have been given the green light to open between 8 AM and 10 PM. Intercity travel is now permitted and transport operators and members of the public are expected to observe public health measures. However, beer halls, bars and nightclubs remain closed.
